"We were surprised that even people who did not have severe symptoms but tested positive for COVID-19 appear to develop a weakened immune system and a higher risk of, for example, glandular fever. It may also be that the coronavirus further increases the risk of chronic fatigue."

Those numbers happen to match my numbers very closely
In 2020 & 2021 there were a total of 937,953 more deaths from disease than expected
In 2020 & 2021 there were 846,721 total reported COVID deaths
A difference of 91,232 representing a COVID undercount of almost 100K
In other words, the numbers are solid

Wish I had more energy to write a real Long COVID awareness day article or thread but I don’t. In Nov ‘23 I caught COVID, I went on to become homebound & have never recovered. I was vaccinated & boosted. Debilitating migraines are just one of the issues I developed from COVID.

He'll likely win Dem primary tomorrow night - Colom says he forgives her for blocking his nomination, he would have been a lifetime judge otherwise and not run against her - He told Semafor “she’s really going to regret it when we win on Nov. 3" (Hyde-Smith campaign said he'll regret "advocating for sex changes for children") - yes, it's a red state but Senate Dems starting to pay attention.
