@airtelindia really annoying to hear false promises from your customer service. Unjustified charges are being added to my bill. Twice promised it will be removed but not yet happened. Not sure whom to escalate.

visited an @airtelindia store twice in two months to port my number to Airtel prepaid. First time: "No prepaid SIM, try another shop." Today: took my number and said the same - come back next week or go elsewhere. Why is @airtelindia making it so hard for new customers to join?

1. Aadhaar Enrolment is free of cost. 2. Mandatory Biometric (Photo+Fingerprint+Iris) updates for kids at the age of 5 to 7 years and 15 to 17 years are free of cost. 3. Mandatory Biometric (Photo+Fingerprint+Iris) updates for kids between the age of 7 to 15 years and more than 17 years are Rs. 125/- (inclusive of all the taxes) Note: For benefit of individuals UIDAI has given the mandatory biometric updates between 7 to 15 years, Free of cost till 30th September 2026. 4. Charges for demographics update (one or more fields) are Rs. 75/- (inclusive of all the taxes) 5. Charges for Biometrics (Photo+Fingerprint +Iris) with or without any other demographics update are Rs. 125/- (inclusive of all the taxes) 6. Charges for Aadhaar search using eKYC/ Find Aadhaar/ any other tool and color print out on A4 sheet are Rs. 40/- (inclusive of all the taxes) 7. Charges for address update through myAadhaar portal is Rs.75/- (inclusive of all taxes) 8. The applicable charges for document update is Rs 75/- for update through Aadhaar Enrolment Centre and myAadhaar Portal. Note: For benefit of residents UIDAI has given the Document Update Service, Free of Cost on Aadhaar online portal i.e. “myAadhaar” till 14th June 2026. For further details you may visit uidai.gov.in/.../Aadhaar_En…... Important Note: Do not pay any additional fees beyond those listed above. If an enrolment center demands extra charges, report it immediately at: myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/file-complaint. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward corruption and procedural violations.
