The secret to success in UGC? Be SO INCREDIBLY delusional. I HARD pivoted/launched my UGC page into a DIY/Fixer upper page FIVE (yes...5) days ago. I started sharing my journey about how we accidentally bought a $710,000 fixer upper and how I am going to be documenting ALL the things. My first mission that I wanted to tackle? A new range hood cover because ours was installed crooked, is grimey, and just not my style. I pitched TWO brands. One responded and one didn't and now, not only am I getting an entirely new custom built range hood unit and insert, but they're also paying me 4-figures for the content I'll be providing. Be. SO. Delusional. Post the content. Pitch the brands. Wash. Rinse. Our son, Ezekiel Zane, was born into the arms of Jesus on July 16. The book of Ezekiel is often associated with God’s sovereignty, hope, and faithfulness in the midst of loss, and the name itself means “God will strengthen,” while Zane means “God is gracious.” While we are heartbroken, we are resting in God’s promises of strength and faithfulness, and praising Him for His gracious hand through every part of the 17.5 weeks we had with our sweet boy.

It’s official … I’m going to Switzerland on a girls trip in January to film for a long-term stay company with properties all over the world. I’m so proud of myself!!! And, because people love to flaunt shit online and act like it’s something it’s not, this is a gifted collaboration. But there’s a lot of growth potential and I know I’ll get paid deals with other clients for the trip. You always have to ask yourself what is and isn’t worth it. For me, traveling is a top priority so a gifted partnership to allow me to go somewhere with a bestie I’ve always wanted to go? 100% worth it.

Years ago I would have had to request my birthday off and hope it got approved. Early in the week I filmed and edited for a client so that today I answered some emails but have been able to celebrate the rest of the day with family and friends.
