One thing I realized last week is that you WILL always make time for the things you truly prioritize! For the longest time I kept telling myself I wanted to build my personal brand. I had ideas written down everywhere, but somehow there was never "enough time" Then I invested in myself Now I have mentorship, a plan, accountability, and suddenly I'm making time to script videos, write tweets, study content creation, and build my personal brand every day Nothing about my schedule changed, but the priority did I learned that sometimes the fastest way to force yourself to grow is to burn your boats because when you've invested in becoming better, it's a lot harder to keep making excuses That's been one of the biggest mindset shifts I've had as a business owner this year🙌🏻 #UGC #UGCcreator #UGCcommunity

Funny how the smallest interactions can leave the biggest impression. The woman who delivered my parcel today could’ve handed it over and been on her way. Instead, she took a few extra minutes to explain how the mailroom worked, answered my questions, and made sure I understood everything before she left. It probably felt like just another stop in her day, but to me, it stood out. Moments like that remind me that people don’t always remember the service itself. They remember how someone made them feel. Going the extra step doesn’t take much, but it creates an experience people carry with them long after the interaction is over. The noise reducer on Instagram Edits app is wayyyy higher quality than CapCut! I can’t seem to get the Audio Mix feature to work after a CapCut video is downloaded (only on an original video), but Edits does it perfect IMO ⚡️

Hot take 🔥😬 The whole "people watch with the sound off" advice has done more damage to UGC creators than good. Yes, consumers may scroll with the sound off. But brands, agencies, media buyers, creative strategists, and the people deciding whether to hire you are absolutely watching with the sound on. Your talking head isn't just there to deliver information. It's your audition. Your energy, confidence, pacing, articulation, facial expressions, and ability to connect through a screen are all being evaluated whether you realize it or not. I've seen creators obsess over camera quality, editing, captions, and hooks while completely ignoring the skill that is literally front and center in most UGC ads. As a UGC creator, your talking head delivery is either making you money or costing you money. And most creators spend far more time upgrading their gear than upgrading their communication skills. #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

I'm trying to get better at is shortening the time between learning something and actually using it. For a long time I'd watch videos, save posts, listen to podcasts, and then tell myself I just learned something because it made my ego feel good. But I never actually applied that knowledge. Now if I learn something useful, I try to apply it that same day whether that's a new technique or a different workflow or a mindset shift Knowledge compounds a lot faster when you stop collecting it and start using it. #UGC #UGCcreator #UGCcommunity

@chrismugc At some point I kept on getting gear to the point that I had LOTS of stuff that I never even used 😆 Once you master the phone and natural light setup, that’s all you need!

When I started #ugc I remember fretting over which light to buy. Soon found out there were creators making thousands a month shooting with window light. You literally only need a phone to get started. More "gear" can come later.
