Shaming doesn't mean that people won't engage in risky behaviors. Rather, it drives the behaviors underground, says Julia Marcus, an infectious disease epidemiologist and an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. cnn.it/2XC8EtF

What happened to George Floyd was an unacceptable act. Embarrassing to LEOs who take the oath of serving and protecting others with the highest levels of integrity/honor. Hope we can have conversations that help us understand one another, there can be growth, empathy not apathy.

The @USDA must immediately allow all states to use #SNAP benefits for online shopping. Low-income and vulnerable people should not have to choose between hunger and sickness.

These populations face issues getting basic necessities during normal times too—this has just heightened our awareness to it. Let’s figure out how we can continue to expand programs to help our vulnerable community members even after this is all over. #SUsocialwork
