This can’t be criticised enough. Pendlebury should be slammed for this. Huge 3 game stretch for a fringe 8 side and Pendlebury is going to miss 2/3 so he can break the record at the MCG against West Coast. Incredible.

If they cared about finals so deeply and pendles was still easy best 23 like people say, hed be playing against Sydney and Geelong. Unless hes not best 23 or Collingwood care more abt limping him to games record than winning

@thomasjameoneil Or just perhaps that’s the media, and Pendles was never going to play after a 5 day break. Sydney is after a 6 day break. The point is to get Pendles who has already withdrawn from one game and missed another through the season so he’s there at the other end.

This might sound controversial (and a bit soft) but I think Edwards needs to be suspended for this. Not looking at the ball, running full tilt at a bloke going up for a mark is pretty dangerous. Yes it’s his first game but you can’t be doing that at AFL level.

Archie Roberts output is one to keep an eye on. He's currently ranked 14th for score involvements among Essendon players. Of 10 general defenders averaging 25+ touches a game in the AFL, he ranks 9th for Score involvements ahead of only Josh Worrell. Lots of footy, low impact.

@Damion23 @James3309670759 That was my thought too but in games against Adelaide or port when not at AO he’s cleared 20 6/7 times, with majority being an easy clear too so I don’t think it’s the teams he struggles against and more the venue. I do hope he goes off though 🤞🏼

Farrow is the popular rookie trade in this round but Mitch Edwards looms as a great rookie trade in as well. $146k with a -2 BE and his next 2 games are against the Eagles and the Bulldogs without English, Edwards will make very decent cash over the next 2 rounds. #SuperCoach

I was one of the people who went early on Murdock (knowing it could bite me in the ass) but I don't regret it 😁
