@haarvig Journalister har generelt høyere grad av forståelse for hvordan samfunnet fungerer enn folkedypet, fordi mange av oss har studert samfunnet mens andre gikk livets harde skole. Folkedypet burde kanskje stemme mer i takt med journalister.

@AskLindal @jofnilsen @yvindBakke1 @MlleMalin Okay skjønner. Ish.

@damianplayer I guess the biggest red flag of them all in that interview was that Altman didn’t understand the references to Deus Ex, because he had never played the game 😂

10 years ago Sam Altman asked Elon what he’d be working on if he were 22 today. he answered: “AI is probably the single biggest item in the near term that’s likely to affect humanity.” that was 2016. chatgpt was still six years away. crazy shit!

Stupid take. I was just questioning _another_ relevant correlation with 2015 and onwards related to the issue, where a relevant take is the influx of migrants in that exact period. When that is all said, it’s worth to mention that I on several occasions have volunteered at asylum centers, and my extended family is Cameroonian (for what it’s worth). I have nothing at all against immigration (in controlled forms), and I must say I have never been accused of being racist before. Just because it’s not perfectly politically correct to point at such factors, it’s not «racist». What matters in this context is to question what factors are at play, and what’s correlation and what’s causation. The OP article stands out as quite sloppy in that regard.

In 2016 Norway gave every 5-year-old child an iPad. Within a few years, Norway's reading scores plummeted and dropped below the OECD average. They ranked dead last out of 65 countries. Now Norway is spending millions of dollars to reverse this trend and get people reading.

@AskLindal @AlexAndBooks_ @sjakhaaheim Unlikely. Every western country has seen an influx of immigrants over the the last decade, not just Norway. For them to plummet so rapidly relative to other countries tells us something else is at play

Dude, this has nothing to do with «racism». It is simply a fact that if you add a lot of new people that doesn’t even know the language into the system, it will have an effect on the statistics. Now, as far as I know, you can filter for background in the PISA statistics, but not sure if it is accounted for in the PISA averages. Again, it is all about correlation and causation, and I think there are many factors at play here, not only introduction of tablets.

@AskLindal @AlexAndBooks_ @sjakhaaheim I wonder. It seems like a reasonably intelligent person—perhaps you?—could do some basic calculations to see if your suggestion is even statistically possible or just racism?

The Oil Lie Oil isn’t rare, it’s also not made from dead dinosaurs. It’s the 2nd most common liquid after water and is the Earth’s lifeblood. The scarcity myth was a Rockefeller lie to dramatically increase the oil price. The system tells you that oil is liquefied dinosaurs (biotic theory) so you believe it's scarce and pay whatever they want. Lie. Oil is abiotic—a liquid mineral generated by the Earth's own engine through high-pressure and high-temperature processes in the mantle. It is the lubricant for tectonic plates. Depleted wells from the 70s have been found to be fuller today than before. Why? Because the Earth's system pumps it from the subsoil. It doesn't run out; it regenerates. By extracting it on a massive scale, we are drying out the Earth's gears. This is why there are more earthquakes and creaking faults: we are stripping the oil from the engine. The fossil theory (coined by the Rockefellers and the Smithsonian in the late 19th century) is the greatest economic hack in history. If oil came from organic matter, it would have a biological signature (nitrogen, phosphorus, etc.) that would degrade. Crude oil is pure polymeric hydrocarbon. The Thomas Gold Thesis This expert (whom the system tried to discredit) proved that methane and oil rise from the depths of the mantle. Hydrocarbons are primordial constituents of the Earth's formation. By calling it fossil, they tell you it's a resource that's running out. If Humanity knew that oil is like tap water for the Earth, the geopolitics of the parasites would go down the drain in a single day.

Norway’s road authority (SVV) has issued a statement following the Netherlands’ approval of Tesla’s FSD Supervised, clarifying what happens next. It now enters a broader European review process, where regulators across the EU will evaluate the decision, ask questions, and ultimately vote on whether to grant wider approval. According to SVV: • Other countries can delay the process by raising questions • There is no set timeline for approval • Norway, as a non-EU country, cannot vote but can participate and scrutinize SVV says it will focus on: • How FSD performs in Nordic conditions • Risks of driver misunderstanding • Safety, misuse, and reporting requirements Even if EU approval is granted, Norway may still require a separate review and adjustments before allowing FSD locally, similar to how Ford’s BlueCruise rollout was handled.
