On this platform, I have seen posts lauding the dual carriage road from Lusaka to Ndola - saying most of it is done, just a little bit left to finish off. I recently drove on it, in both directions. If I say, possibly 25% has been done, I would be quite generous. What is worrying for me is how we are losing any sense of standards. Zambia was not always like this - from education, health to sports - our standards could stand up against international test. Something happened - especially under this current government. EVERYTHING IS INCREDIBLE 😲 When you look at what is being described as incredible, your brain starts to itch - you must scratch your head. This country is being systematically ruined right in front of our eyes. We must not accept that the lot we have in government today represent the best of us - that is simply and unequivocally untrue. It is of course not unusual for politicians to want to make us believe that they represent the height of all our collective national wisdom and intellect. Even that lady, who once stood as a champion of high standards, has been drafted in the wholesale evisceration of our common sense of values and standards. She claims no one in Zambia can do better. Like that PF chap who once claimed only Jesus can do better.
