Our thoughts are with Paul & family on the sad passing 12 year old @MerPolDogs RPD Victor (Merpol V litter). Victor was a General Patrol Dog from 2015 - 2021 (along with his littermates brothers). He lived with his handler after retiring 💔

Today, Monty celebrates his 11th birthday & whilst no one knows how many more he has to come, his owner & family know that they have the full support of @lrpduk & we will be there to do whatever is needed to give Monty a comfortable and pain free retirement. 🐶🐾💙

Quietly behind the scenes @lrpduk have been supporting RPD Monty whilst he’s undergone tests. Sadly lumps found have been confirmed as inoperable lymph gland tumours. Cancer. Whilst we do not always showcase what we do, we are continually working in the background (Cont 👇🏻)

His Majesty the King has approved the appointment of Michelle Skeer OBE QPM as His Majesty's Chief Inspector of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services on an interim basis. Michelle brings 36 years experience across policing & fire and will be the first woman to hold this role.
