Last night another male on an illegally adapted high-powered bike thought he’d evaded capture after making off from officers & disappearing. He thought wrong, PD Ziggy arrived & tracked the males movements before locating him trying to hide. #anotherforthecrusher #OPGEARS 🚲 👏

In the early hours 2 males in a vehicle were acting suspiciously before they walked away as police arrived. Once detained PD Ziggy set about searching 1st locating a quantity of Class A drugs discarded by the driver before locating his car key that he’d tried to hide in bushes👏

🚓🐕 PD JoJo & handler deployed to a fail‑to‑stop in St Helens involving a high‑powered e‑bike. After a 20+ min track through dense woodland, JoJo located the bike and then the male hiding in undergrowth in possession of a hammer. Outstanding result for a brand new dog team! 👏

Earlier today PD Reggie assisted patrols searching a compound full of abandoned / destroyed vehicles. During the course of his search Reggie located a quantity of cannabis that had been concealed in the fuse box within one of the cars #thenoseknows

Last night 2 males tried to steal items from a building site in St.Helens before making off. PD Ziggy tracked the pair for 40 minutes & over a mile locating 1 within thick undergrowth. He was also wanted on a recall to prison. The 2nd male then quickly presented himself 👏 👌

After 3 males fled from ARVs PD Ziggy arrived & tracked 2 of the males through Kirkdale cemetery & later into an alleyway. They then broke cover but ran into cops on the containment. Ziggy confirmed the reason why they ran identifying a large machete discarded under a car 🔪 👏

Last night PD Ziggy & co worked closely with @MerPolTraffic & @NPASNorthWest in the pursuit of a dangerous driver making outrageous threats. RPU used tactics to stop the vehicle on M53 & when he fled on foot we deployed Ziggy.The male threw in the towel when faced with 42 teeth👏

Last night a wanted male fled from officers sparking a 6 hour manhunt. The male was later sighted as he made off into fields. PD Poppy was hot on his heels & tracked him for over a mile before she detained him hidden deep in undergrowth. Fantastic work Poppy 👏 #thenoseknows

TPD Maverick a 21 week old Dutch Herder was practicing his tracking and property indication work in the sun, look at his face after a well deserved drink for a job well done. Mav will be on his initial training course in 2027 but all the foundational training is well underway.
