@JoeMerrick @papermarkis While i agree that it certainly gets more boring when you no longer have specific rewarded milestones to work towards, i personally feel that having no daily VP earning limit makes it ok. It isn’t as directly engaging, but if you enjoy battling you’ll be making lots anyway

@papermarkis People often see such short term
I've been doing this long enough I can see all the patterns and structures for how things work, but I am having people going at me for pointing this out.

Serebii is the only Pokémon fan I see that seems to know how F2P games actually work

Battle Pass done. Missions done. Just Achievements and battles to get VP now and both are a grind. Once I'm done with my surplus, then we have a problem Classic mobile game strategy of overloading at first, then having it be harder to get as standard.

Had this conversation with my parents a few days ago and was called insane for it, then proceeded to explain to them the entire “happy medium” reason behind 16:9 and how both productivity and media are screwed over by it.

4:3 is the best why did 16:9 have to become the norm

@HoodlumCallum There are 128x and 64x icons in Champions. I’m not sure how they decide which to use

Comparing other UI assets, there is a consistent 1.5x increase in size between the source asset and how it's displayed ingame.
Therefore, it can be reasonably concluded that the assets were designed to be used at 720p (720 * 1.5 = 1080)

The Pokemon Champions title screen is a 1408x792 image with the logo baked into it. In handheld on a switch 1 it's downscaled so it looks fine, however when playing docked at all, it's being upscaled by 36.4%
