This 18 year old man’s family breaks down when they hear the judge issue a 25 year sentence for armed robbery. Caden Fontenette and 2 other young men used firearms to rob the Bulldog Convenience store. Judge West said, “Things have just changed in such an incredibly dangerous way with young people doing what I just saw you do on that screen. I cannot imagine the fear that person had that was working in that store. Just trying to go to work, make a living and go home. He has three people come in and not just grab a little quick something and run out, but terrorize him for quite some time. Pulling him around, yanking him around, putting guns in his face. All three of you.” Judge Raquel West also pointed out that Fontenette has been involved in violent altercations since he has been in jail following his arrest. He will be eligible for parole after serving 50% of his sentence. Well before he turns 40.

The bill, H.R. 7452, titled the Air Quality Act, was introduced February 9 by U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-FL) and referred to the House Committees on Energy and Commerce, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Science, Space, and Technology. Violators could face criminal fines of up to $100,000 per violation, imprisonment for up to five years, or both, along with civil penalties of up to $10,000 imposed by federal regulators. If enacted, the legislation would take effect 90 days after passage, triggering the nationwide prohibition on geoengineering and atmospheric weather modification activities. However, because the statute applies only to activities conducted “knowingly” as weather modification, enforcement would require proving that the atmospheric release was carried out as a weather-altering program—leaving unresolved how the law would apply to metal nanoparticle- and sulfur-laced aircraft emissions that federal aviation and atmospheric agencies acknowledge can linger, spread, and form cloud cover that affects sunlight (more on this in the linked article below). My gut tells me Trump endorses Paxton. He likes Paxton. Cornyn backstabbed him in 23. If he wanted Cornyn, he could've endorsed as he did all Senate Rs but Collins. He'd prefer Paxton. But the influence & deal-cutting of the Swamp & LaCivita worry me. If Trump stays out, Cornyn's Swamp team sullies Paxton but still loses. Everyone knows that. This may be the dignified exit ramp for Cornyn, he leaves looking the party-saving hero, & he'll get, ahem, taken care of. Fine.
