@RoldBoxing I 100% agree, that's why I said "by technicality." I find it especially odd that NYSAC didn't recognise Louis' fight with Jack Roper as a title fight but they chose to do that for Johnny Davis.

That’s been largely ignored for a reason. In real time, when he defeated Walcott in the rematch, you’ll see newspapers and Ring and others call this 25th defense. They knew about it and that it was all nonsense. That was an exhibition with a dumb commissioner.

Naoya Inoue is now tied for the most title fight wins without or before a loss or draw with Joe Louis at 26 (excluding goofy WBA extra belts). One caveat: all of Louis’s wins were lineal. Inoue is 10-0 in lineal title fights.

@mcdiesel88 He has been playing really well in fairness and winning world titles 21 years apart really would be something so I can live with it. But I'm 100% on Wu's Cheers squad and glad I haven't had to hear Murphy's voice this whole time. Also Wu winning would piss off the right people.
