JoseFernandez CREATED a problem in Dallas. He coaches a team that has two close losses in three games and has a roster that is pretty good with one glaring exception --no center. Still they are playing good basketball. He decided to create a controversy instead of just tinkering a little to fix what might lead them to win the close games. And, HE should look in the mirror to account fore his player rotation issues.

🚨 WOWWW — UTAH — the brilliant young women @kevinolearytv 🤥 accused of being Chinese ops just discovered Utah speaker of the house Mike Schultz (Republican) bought 640 acres of land right next to the data center site just 2 months before it was announced. Incredible find.

Davis fights in weight classes that are below three of the Four Kings. Only Duran early in his career was in his weight class--making this an even more absurd post. Suggesting that Davis could beat Tommy Hearns is perhaps the most absurd thing I have seen on this platform--which is saying a lot.
Jules❤️🥊@tsjules007

What would Prime Tank Davis record be against the four kings? I got him going 2-2 beating Duran and Hearns losing to SRL and Hagler

Dallas has front court issue last season and they’re back there again after they used their #1 to solve a problem that did not exist. But yeah, let’s blame Arike.

Jose Fernandez just potentially ruined a season that could have been pretty good. The Wings are 1-2 having lost two close games to good teams. They have a pretty talented team with new personnel and a superstar. They armer figuring out how to play together (which HE is supposed to help them do) They are sharing the ball well (11 of first 12 baskets by assists) so they are earnest in their efforts. This bozo coach with three games of pro experience blows things up publicly for no reason and now lost his team. HE is he one who should look in the mirror.

Jose just seems out of depth. Did he not understand what this job would entail? This ain't college, it's the pros. Plus, you have a job on one of the most popular franchises. You're managing literal superstars. From media to coaching, he's just out of depth.

Guy has been in the league for a cup of coffee and he's already airing out his locker room in public? Giving immaculate, 'Tell me you're a college coach without telling me you're a college coach' vibes
Landon Thomas@sixfivelando

Jose Fernandez said he told the team there’s selfishness in the locker room. Fernandez told them to not get upset about minutes played and lack of shots. “Really good teams don’t give a shit about that. You know what they give a shit about? They give a shit about winning.”

@fleetwoodrapp Yes he did. It shows he's not up to the moment. A mid level college coach who could be a God at small collleges in Florida elevated to WNBA where it its a more nuanced and difficult job. He is the one who should look in the mirror

Well he should look in the mirror too because his team was NOT selfish on the court--they were sharing the ball well and in a close game against a good team. HE didn't do a good enough job to help get them over the finish line. And it's stupid to publicly throw your young team under the bus after three games. That's part of coaching as well.

Seniority & defense is goin to hurt Dallas the most . The rotations by the coach tonight were poor . Siegrist sat for 2 long . Azzi taken off of Miles after playin good D on her . Some1 18% from the field in late instead of Maddy who was 64% .

@MattDowellTV You are absolutely correct. And also they didn't play selfish. They shared the ball very well on offense.

This is a strong statement and “selfishness” is a big word. I think this is something you keep in house after only three games because now it’s going to be a thing and more questions will arise

@AlBernstein @WNBA Kind of a chronic issue - I don't know if it's more common to critic/fans of WNBA than other sports.

It is good to see so many fans with an interest in the @WNBA but I am constantly amazed at how critical so many comments seem to be. Even when someone is celebrating how good a player did often the poster finds a way to compare her to someone else they then insult. It alway seems to be one player against another in people’s mind. They can’t just seem to paise a player without tearing another one down in the process
