Rigathi’s injections have unsettled Ruto. You can see it in his reactions. Ruto’s attempts to caricature him like he did Raila, has failed. Everyone in UDA is crying. They are seeing their boss being skinned alive, with truths, and for the first time, they don’t know what to do.

I watched UDA events in Ganze (Kilifi) last week, and I won’t lie... I left angry. Coast leaders show up in helicopters & fuel guzzlers. Big speeches. Big promises. And telling them to support Ruto. But the people? Silent. Just sitting there in yellow T-shirts like it’s a rally, not their lives on the line. No one stood up to say: “We have no water.” “Our kids are learning under trees.” “We are suffering.” Nothing. And this is what’s disturbing me... Because I’ve been to Ganze, Bamba, and Kilifi. I’ve seen poverty & the struggle there with my own eyes. So what’s going on? How do people living in that kind of hardship sit in front of leaders and say NOTHING? Is it fear? Is it hopelessness? Or have we normalized suffering so much that people don’t even expect better anymore? Because let’s be honest, Some parts of Kenya don’t just feel left behind… They feel abandoned. Ganze. Parts of Kwale. Homa Bay. etcetra If you go there, you’ll question whether this is the same Kenya that politicians keep talking about on TV. And the real question is: Who benefits when the poorest stay silent?

Kenyans have turned up in large numbers to support Afande Denno after he ventured into the boiled maize (mitungo) business. The former police officer resigned after participating in the Gen Z protests, which put him on the wrong side of the law. Police officers are prohibited from engaging in demonstrations.
