SCOOP: The City of Atlanta is investing $24 million into resurfacing Atlanta’s streets in the next 9 months. That includes $12 million approved last year by the City Council. This $$ will also go to sidewalks & ensuring more streets are ADA compliant. More here ⬇️


There are seven light-rail systems in the U.S. with coverage of less than three miles, including the Atlanta Streetcar. None of them had ridership anywhere near as low as ATL's in 2023. Makes you wonder if the sad land-use around much of the Atlanta Streetcar plays a role.





With the inevitable MARTA Board approval of Campbellton BRT on the horizon, I want to take some time to outline why I STILL think that this is a bad decision, and why this project showcases fundamental problems with MARTA planning. 🧵
