Mormons believe in something called the "Great Apostasy" where the principles taught by Jesus and the priesthood authority were lost when the apostles were killed. Why is this stupid? Well supposedly there are three immortal Nephites walking among us(kind of like Highlander) whose job it was to make sure that that didn't happen. Lol there can be only three!!!!!

John is alive until Christ comes again. Joseph and Oliver Cowdrey met him. Many people met one or three of the Nephite disciples who were given the same blessing as John. They helped lead the church in their day (for three hundred years) and were taken out of society when the people became too wicked. I talked to a man whose group met John at the Vatican. He is working like Christ did, converting people one at a time, individually. What matters most is that you repent and ask God what is true. He will tell you through the Holy Ghost. It won’t matter if you are not committed to follow the truth. So commit, commit to change your life if you need to.

@OffensiveHugs He became a mason in 1842 and died in 1844. He created various rituals by mixing in Freemason bits. I have read things from Smith, I've read the BoM, etc.

Joseph Smith saw God with other people present on multiple occasions. He also saw angels with others present. You too can see and experience what Joseph saw and experienced. Our message was never "trust me." But "come and see."
