@jan_tec Too many faves to narrow it down to one, but @AtomicFilament, @Polymaker_3D, and @BambulabGlobal are at the top of my list. @sunluofficial (and most of its sub-brands) has been very reliable and affordable for me too. PETG is my favorite type. I like to print function things. 🍻

#3dprint I think we need a switch in the industry. More experimental slicers and less #3dprinters. Lets chill on the mechanical aspect and focus on the software side. What's your favorite slicer(s) & why are you using them? What kind of slicer features would you like to see?

This weekend, the @xAI team brought our Colossus 100k H100 training cluster online. From start to finish, it was done in 122 days. Colossus is the most powerful AI training system in the world. Moreover, it will double in size to 200k (50k H200s) in a few months. Excellent work by the team, Nvidia and our many partners/suppliers.

I hear you but nothing happens in a vacuum. Circumstances change. I doubt Micronics even had acquisition on their radar when they got started or even a month ago prior to when they met Formlabs. Sometimes you gotta strike when opportunity presents itself and I don't think their presenting the offering the way they did means they owe it to anyone to see it through if a better opportunity arises as long as everyone is made whole again which they will be when the kickstarter is cancelled. I think intent matters and I genuinely believe the Micronics guys had no Ill will here, a better deal came along and they took it. That's it.

I know a lot of backers felt salty about the decision to cancel the @kickstarter and I get it, it would have been a phenomenal value for tech like this at the consumer level. I also know its hard to empathize with founders as a consumer but given all the blood sweat, tears, and dolla bills it took to get @micronics3d to just this point it's hard to blame them for taking the exit and building up the coffers to be better positioned for future moves. Yes, they'll take shade for it, but the alternative of continuing to build your own thing from scratch is heavily fraught with a million different potential perilous deaths for a small business. Staying the course would not necessarily mean success and statistically the opposite would still have been more likely. Better to live to fight another day?
