Elon Musk says three casting foundries broke America's entire AI power buildout through 2030. Every AI company on Earth was racing to scale chip production. Doubling. Then doubling again. Then doubling again. Each cluster needed power the day chips arrived. Musk says the math broke at the generator. "Those who have lived in software land don't realize they're about to have a hard lesson in hardware." Permits. Interconnects. Power lines. The boring infrastructure decided who could turn the chips on. Then Musk drilled down one more level. The bottleneck wasn't power plants. It wasn't even gas turbines. It was a single component inside the turbine. "It's the vanes and blades in the turbines that are the limiting factor." The whole AI buildout funneled through one part: the turbine blade. Musk, who had ganged turbines together for Colossus, traced the supply line back further. "There are only three casting companies in the world that make these, and they're massively backlogged." Each blade had to survive 1,500-degree gas at 10,000 RPM, and casting one to spec required a process so specialized that only three companies in the world had mastered it. Three foundries. All backlogged. Sold out through 2030. After Musk traced the bottleneck, SpaceX and Tesla started casting blades themselves. Sold out. Backlogged. Internal-only. Musk, on what this meant for everyone else: "In order to bring enough power online, I think SpaceX and Tesla will probably have to make the turbine blades, the vanes and blades, internally." What's the supply line in your industry that's already booked through the next decade? P.S. Meta plans 'Hatch' AI agent priced at up to $200/month - The Information Hatch is designed to be an autonomous agent that operates apps on your behalf. Agentic Shopping: A major near-term focus is integrating Hatch into Instagram to compete with TikTok Shop. Instead of clicking ads and manually browsing websites, a user could watch a Reel, tell Hatch what they want, and the agent will evaluate catalogs, compare options, and complete the transaction entirely in the background. Cross-App Navigation: Meta isn't limiting Hatch to its own ecosystem. The agent is currently being trained to navigate simulated web environments for third-party services like DoorDash, Etsy, Reddit, Yelp, and Microsoft Outlook.

$META is up over 3% today! Here’s the two things they announced today 1) They won a lawsuit in the EU - This gets rid of some restrictions and will save them $780 million in fines 2) They are now selling AI agents - This is what Wall Street wants, they want them to diversify their revenue through selling AI or AI compute Both of these are causing the stock to finally have a green candle

$META Business Agent is their ChatGPT moment. I don’t think even bulls understand how big this is. “Now, a clothing shop in Birmingham or a bakery in Sao Paulo can offer the same always-on, highly personalized experience as a major brand.” - Zuck The biggest problem with AI right now is usability. If you’re a restaurant owner, you’re too busy to learn how to setup AI agents. And you don’t want some “AI consultant” coming in to charge you $20k for something you’re not sure will even work. Meta Business Agents will just work. Like an iPhone. That convenience and simplicity is what small business owners desperately want.

When I called out Trump years ago for being a danger to democracy, a free press, and truth itself, I was accused of making myself the story and showboating. How did things turn out? Trump is all of those things. Tonight, the free press is very much in danger in America. Wake up!

JENSEN HUANG WAS ASKED WHO IS USING AI BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD His answer wasn't OpenAI. It wasn't Google. It wasn't even Nvidia itself. Here's what he said on CNBC: "Nobody uses AI better than Meta." He explained that Meta went from a classical recommender system running on CPUs to a generative AI agentic system making recommendations across the entire platform. "Everything from the way social media works and the way they recommend ads and help advertisers create content has fundamentally been changed. And their earnings show it." "That's the reason why they're investing so hard. They see a much larger future potential for it." Mark Zuckerberg $META is spending $70B+ on AI this year.

@TheRealThelmaJ1 Nick Shirley has been exposed as an idiot in many ways my favorite is when he played at being a 'war correspondent' and got shot down by a genuinely great war correspondent @CaolanReports x.com/i/status/18368…
Caolan@CaolanReports

Nick Shirley came to Ukraine to pretend there wasn’t a war happening. He pumped out Russian propaganda from Kyiv and insinuated life was great here. Unfortunately for @nickshirleyy, I spoke to his fixers today who told me he was terrified the entire time. He told them he didn’t want to visit frontline cities despite being offered to go. So he knew how bad it was and decided not to show it. All of this contradicts Nicks posts saying he didn’t have accreditation to go anywhere outside Kyiv so ‘couldn’t show the reality of the war’ Nick has been caught lying.
