@FiddlesPicks It feels they'd have won with a little substitution. They were up like 13. You can't just play everyone for 40 minutes.

@FiddlesPicks Fiddle, you can inspire us even with non-betting posts. We should all do this kind of goal-setting form time to time. I hope you reach the goals and Happy Birthday! Maybe when you retire from betting, you can be a commentator for games.

@BillyPittsburgh All the stories about Kwesi post firing seem to lean even harder into the idea that KOC is elite level. Pretty ridiculous to be one kick return away from an NFC North Title showdown week 18 with shaky QB play all year.

@FiddlesPicks 10%. It is very strong value. If you assume most have a bankroll of 50u, 5u is a pretty big bet, but nothing crazy. If this was the real world, the contrarian in me would be concerned the odds tipping indicates the book knows something I don't know.

Sports Betting Thought Experiment! If you could bet the Super Bowl coin toss at +105 odds, what percentage of your bankroll would you bet? There are correct and incorrect answers here! But it would need some nuance.

Thoughts on yesterday 1. It is an absolute blast watching snow and cold games. Tragic that NFL cities are slowly taking that away. 2. I think the Patriots win easy if it doesn't snow like it did in 2nd half. Having Denver +5, I actually bet NE at halftime, -3 and ML. I was unaware the weather would be as bad as it was. I'm not ashamed to be lucky. 3. Stidham ran his course in the first half. Payton game planning had a lot to do with his success. At the end of the day, Stidham is an average backup. 4. Vrabel almost blew the game not challenging the spot on Hunter Henry's 3rd down catch right before the controversial 4th down QB sneak. He called timeout, I don't understand how someone in the Patriots booth did not tell Vrabel to challenge the spot. Further more, replay review should have looked at it. I thought it was a clear first down. 5. Payton definitely should have gone for the FG in the first half on 4th and 1. It was obvious points would be at a premium and Denver had a horrible short yardage matchup vs NE with Stidham at QB. FG was the correct decision. 6. I think Sean McVay should have replaced Xavier Smith to catch punts after getting away with the first miscue. If a punt returner is misjudging a punt with no wind even once, I'm replacing him. 7. The Rams were in a tough spot yesterday after playing 2 consecutive taxing road playoff wins. Seattle was fresh as a daisy. 8. Mike McDonald has become a terrific coach and has entered elite status. 9. I think everyone has to be happy for slinging Sam Darnold. Lot of doubters out there including myself. 10. Thought Seattle was clearly the better team yesterday. If Woolen doesn't get an unsportsman like conduct penalty, I probably lose my Rams teaser. I will be sending out Super Bowl opinions and try to give some props as well.

Thoughts on yesterday 1. Lot of controversy on whether Buffalo should have gone for 2 or not. While the coaching in Buffalo is subpar(being nice) the decision was correct because the Bills did not want Josh Allen to play overtime with his foot injury and they had no confidence that Badgley could even make the extra point. I agreed with going for 2 there even though it probably cost me the win, Philly had 17 yards of offense in the 2nd half. 2. That 49er game was a stresser to say the least. I really under estimated the Bears offense and Caleb Williams. Bears are legit Super Bowl contenders. 3. Everytime the Niners went up 7, I clicked the Bears in game including halftime. Although it was a very fortunate win, it was the best game for me personally of the season and we will take it. Hope most of you were on board. 4. Caleb Williams has the best skill set of any QB I've ever seen. If he works hard and stays healthy, he has a shot of being one of the best ever. 5. It is a miracle that our Vikings win total has a shot. The Packers could care less about this week's outcome. If the Vikes end up 9-8 with zero help from the QB position, It is one heck of a coaching job. 6. Tampa has lost 4 straight games as 3 or more point favorites and still could win the division. I would say if they don't win the division, it's one of the biggest collapses in NFL history along with flushing my division future down the drain. 7. The NFL needs to make a draft lottery for the 5 or 6 worst teams so the Raiders embarrassment does not happen again. Plus everyone and they're mother bet the Giants yesterday except me. At least I didn't have the Raiders. 8. Aarron Glenn has moved into the coaching group that has a good chance of being fired. The Jets took money before the game yesterday and are taking money this Sunday at Buffalo as I'm typing this. Even though Josh Allen won't be playing this week, it's tough to make a case for the Jets. 9. Baltimore has a better chance of winning with Snoop Huntley this week at Pittsburgh. Steeler fans should be rooting for Lamar to play. Jackson has played miserably in Pittsburgh throughout his career and will be much more mistake prone than Snoop. 10. Tyler Shough has locked up Rookie of the year. Congrats to anyone that had a ticket on him. I missed the boat. Tonight's Rams at Falcons game has a new twist in that Atlanta could still win the NFC South. I would think McVay will play ballz out on National TV and want to go into the playoffs with some momentum. No Devante Adams hurts though. I make the game 6.7 total 48 and have no action. Podcast drops Friday Morning this week due to the Holiday. Happy New Year!!!

@BillyPittsburgh Shough is still 2nd in odds, could still bet it if you think it is that sure. Falcons can't win the South, but they will value the Panthers to win if all 3 end up at 8-9, which is pretty funny.

@BillyPittsburgh Maybe now the world can see why the Vikings took risks at QB. Just average QB play would yield a 12 win team. The roster was built well overall. Shaky QB play and almost 0 oline continuity and 8-9 at worst?

Thoughts on yesterday 1. Vikings are 8-8 and literally got no production from the QB position the entire season. 2. QB Brosmer had a QBR rating of 9 with 51 yards passing. Vikes were +6 in turnover margin and easily could have lost. It's just not sustainable in todays NFL to get zero help from your QB. 3. Vikes defense was impressive to say the least. Now that we know Tua was the problem in Miami and not Flores, he should definitely get a head coaching job. 4. The Lions were exposed yesterday. Campbell needs to hire an OC as he has been a complete disaster calling plays. Also, If Goff doesnt get perfect protection, he is worthless. The day of the immobile QB has come to an end. 5. Dallas is going to be a good team next year. They have all the pieces in place, plus have tons of draft picks. 6. The line in the Denver game was grossly inflated yesterday and most sharp betters picked up on that. There was very little difference between Oladukon and Minshew, but they down graded it another 2.5-3 points. 7. Every season they call less penalties the last few weeks. I think everyone likes less penalties, I wish they would only call the egregious ones all season. 8. Seems like the Broncos play down to they're competition. They are a terrible large favorite. 9. Josh Johnson is amazing. An adequate backup, played almost 20 years for over half the teams in the league and gave Washington a chance to win yesterday. 10. Make sure that you know all the playoff scenarios before making bets this week. Lines move a lot the last 2 weeks. GL this weekend!!!

@BillyPittsburgh Good points about the officiating. It was pretty brutal. That DPI was a horrible call and was massive. I was in such disbelief the Eagles lost. It felt like they had a lot of chances.

Thoughts on yesterday 1. Why pass on 1st down when you have Barkly and want to run clock to 2 minutes so the worst possible outcome is a tie. Sirianni is the worst ever, its an every week post. 2. Philly got bailed out on 4th down with offsides by Chargers from the 43 to be in position at the 16. They were in 4th down because they threw a hail mary on 3rd down instead of trying to pick up 5 yards. 3. Don't give me this Offensive coordinator fault bullshit either. Sirianni was the offensive coach before he became HC. He stands on the sidelines with his head up his ass, and never has a clue of what to do. 4. Justin Herbert is one of the biggest gamers I've ever seen. I don't think any other player could play at that level, while basically using one hand. I can see why Harbaugh loves him so much. 5. I heard Sal Palantonio say that Philly's biggest problem is Jalen Hurts poor play this season. Although Hurts made some good plays down the stretch, he is far from the player he was last season. 6. I could not stand the way AJ Brown complained about not getting the ball earlier this year. Now I realize he is 100% in the right. The guy can dominate a game if you let him plus he is literally open on every play. They did throw to him more yesterday, but still not nearly enough. 7. The refs once again have to be the center of attention calling 2 non-existent holding penalties and a phantom interference penalty, all on the Eagles, all at monumental times in the game. Than NBC rules official Terry McCaulay gets on and says that Adoree Jackson hooked the Charger WR when he clearly whiffed sticking arm out. Is he watching the same game as us? The call helped the Chargers drive continue(should have been 4th and 10) and tie the game at 19 sending it to over-time. It was the biggest reason the total was able to fall 41. 8. I had over 40.5 and 41 and than in-gamed under 44 in the 1st quarter, so the final score helped me, but I also needed the Eagles to win or tie the game for future plays I have against the Chargers. 9. While I feel fortunate that the total worked out, I am still in shock the Eagles lost. 10. If the officiating is not corrected and improved in the off season, this may be my last season watching and betting the NFL. It is just getting old hoping I'm on the right side of bad calls. Podcast drops tomorrow night, Rigby @GTO_Diaper had a winner with Bengals-Bills over plus the game moved 2.5 points in his favor. Could it be that Riggs is a sharp NFL bettor? Find out as he will give out another pick this week.

@BillyPittsburgh I got some Jets +14.5 at open and it feels even better with Tyrod in. I hadn't even considered Colts +3.5 until your podcast episode. I found your argument pretty strong and went for it.

Early window recap 1. I did not do anything with the Steeler game due to the uncertainty at QB. The Bears have cluster injuries on defense, but Pittsburgh may or may not capitalize. 2. Small play on Jets +14 for line value. 3. I played Lions 1st half -6.5 and game -10 when I realized Dart was most likely out. I did inform listeners on the podcast that I would be doing that. 4. I have Indy +3.5. The Chiefs are taking money which is not a surprise as the season is on the line for KC. If the Chiefs do cover this number it will be strictly on the shoulders of Mahomes. This figures to be a very close game and the 3.5 points is great value with the Colts. I make the Chiefs a 2.5 favorite. GL

@BillyPittsburgh I agree with Patrick, the no BS opinion is really refreshing. You don't seem to be a big Fezzik fan, but his big thing this year is the math doesn't work anymore on teasers, as most books started cranking up the vig.

Thoughts on Yesterday 1. Something has to give with this horseshit officiating. Even Collinsworth was losing his mind over the interference call against the Lions. It is a total NFL turnoff and almost makes me not want to watch. 2. TG the Euro games are over. As someone who had Miami, I most likely will never bet another one again. 3. I don't think there is a colossal difference between Rogers and Rudolph. What has Rogers really done this season other than he is a future HOF. 4. Nick Sirrianni has no idea what to do at the end of games, and never has an answer at the press conferences about it. Up 10 with 2 1/2 minn left at own 30. Hey, Lets go for it. Second straight week he almost single handedly blew a game and got bailed out by luck. I say this as a guy who was rooting for the Eagles. 5. I keep going back and forth opinionating teasers. A. I hate them B. I bet them C. When they lose I feel like a horses ass. D. You could have basically picked them out of a hat and won yesterday. E. Would love opinions on this subject 6. Slinging Sammy Darnold continued his theme of choking in big games yesterday. Rams and Seahawks are really good teams. 7. I really am not comprehending the Vikings and McCarthy. He looks like ass for 3 quarters than takes them right down the field 80 yards for the go ahead score. My favorite coach could be flawed. 8. I thought Denver out played the Chiefs yesterday and Nix looked really good. KC was the biggest sheep play of the year. If it looks to good, something is wrong. 9. Jaguars put a beat down on the Chargers. If Lawrence plays well the team is pretty, pretty good. 10. Although Winston was a big upgrade over Wilson, I think the Giants beat the Packers if Dart was in there. Let's hope he plays this week, I think he will. ROY is wide open, Egbuka didn't do much yesterday. I may throw a sheckle or two on Henderson, he has got a legit shot. Podcast drops Wed night. Zack has hit 6 straight weekly picks after starting 1-4. And of course Professor. I'm on Dallas -3 tonight GL
