Repeat after me: “Gold and silver are not safe haven assets”. Say it as many times as necessary until it sinks in. They are shiny rocks that trade mostly on narratives and beliefs. They do not have the same utility or hardness as Bitcoin. These are facts. Don’t be an acolyte.

@TedPillows Looking at this chart, instead of seeing danger I see a major discount and I’ll be buying.

$BTC has dropped 6%-30% after the last 6 FOMC meetings. A 6% drop means Bitcoin will drop to $67,000. A 30% drop means BTC will drop to $50,000. IMO, BTC will hit both these levels in 2026.

@LeratoPillayZA Documents or not, the 455% increase in water tanker spending while taps are dry in Soshanguve and Mabopane is the only scandal that matters. Whether there was a meeting or not, the money is gone and people still don't have water.

Definitely wasn't the reply I was expecting. But, since we're here..I have 3 accounts attached to mine that I no longer use. 1 with 1 follower, 1 with ~250 followers, and my old newsletter account that I renamed and bought premium for in hopes of growing a new business for myself. As many know, the newsletter was very real and was something we decided to move past. How is this what causes demonetization for me? If I was doing something wrong, why is this just now being brought up while I'm no longer active on them. I haven't been active on these accounts in months, so when I was demonetized they were not even in use. I also have never tried to monetize these accounts. Also, why does this feel like an attack vs. a solution based conversation?

@PeterSchiff Bitcoin doesn't care about the Fed Funds rate because it’s the only asset with a fixed supply that can’t be reined in by Jerome Powell. While you wait for Gold to recognize inflation, BTC is busy demonetizing it.

Gold and silver are selling off again because investors realize rising inflation takes rate cuts off the table. But they don't realize that while the Fed holds rates steady, inflation will run away. By the time it acts even a 6% fed funds rate won't be high enough to rein it in.
