Every bar in El Poblado is 70% gringos chasing the same 30 girls Sure, if you're willing to fly into Pereira or another similar sewer town you might get some matches on Tinder But if you're going to Medellin / Rio / Buenos Aires expecting to date better than back home you're gonna have a bad time The Latam dating era ended around 2022 SEA is what Latam was 10 years ago.

SEA is better than Latam in almost every conceivable metric, I really wish it wasn’t the case but it's true. After living in Latam the last 4 years I just spent a year in Ph/Thailand/Bali and it’s really not even close. Here’s why... • Dating is 20x better. Ph/Thai girls don't date their own so there's virtually no competition. Your only competition is some old sweaty dude wearing cargo shorts and socks w sandals • Thai villages have better internet than Latam capitals • $1,800/mo gets you a private pool, jungle view, daily cleaner, and a motorcycle in the driveway. That's a 1-bedroom in a Medellín high-rise with a broken elevator and annoying doorman who won't let you bring girls up to your room. • Food half the price and 5x better, Bandeja Paisa is really the best thing Colombia can come up with? like wtf
