The 9th generation might deadass be the worst console generation since the 80’s Verdict’s still out on the Switch 2 (tho it def has problems) but the PS5 & Series X have underwhelmed at best and outright faceplanted at worst

@PlayStation Sold my PS5 last year. 0 regrets. This generation taught me no longer trust the brand to buy early. PS6 would need to prove itself first before I even consider it.

I have no issues with this, but a 10 year gap between 3D Marios is kind of wild...though the fantastic Bowser's Fury certainly made it less painful

I’ve been saying this since budgets hit $200M. Raising game prices to $100 isn’t the solution. It hasn’t worked, and it won’t. The problem isn’t the player. It’s how these games are being made. Studios need to get their costs, scope, and expectations under control.
