1.19M ADA for Cardano technical governance support.
@IntersectTSC is asking for 11 months of funding for technical reports, expert event attendance, the Parameter Committee, CIP editors, hard fork coordination and a pilot technical review programme.
The upside: DReps need independent technical input before voting on complex infrastructure work.
The concern: value needs to show up as clearer reviews, safer upgrades and better decisions.

Building core Cardano infrastructure without collaborating with other builders isn’t really possible .. contributing to node diversity for instance, which requires coordination across different teams.

Last year, IO asked for $97.5M from the Cardano treasury.
This year, the ask is just under 50% at $46.8M.
This is not simply a budget cut, it is a shift in direction. IO is moving toward a self-sufficient model, with more delivery shared across specialist partners and a steady reduction in treasury dependence.
This year’s vote helps fund the final delivery.
