Just a quick update on Cyclone Gabrielle, captured 6pm today. At least here in Hawkes Bay, it's getting pretty windy.

@johwhitt Sounds about how it's like here (Hawkes Bay), a little gusty and raining. But it's meant to peak about midnight for us, so that will be interesting.

@AussieFromSpace Yes. We're far enough inland with ranges around. It's windier and wetter than before but still not what I'd call a storm. Maybe still to come - or not.

@AlTaylorNZ South Island does seem to be escaping most of it. Lucky guys!
