Jarome Luai has done it all. 4 premierships in an elite system. Took his nation to a World Cup final. Then backed himself, left Penrith, and walked into the biggest basket case club in the league. He could have played it safe, and coasted, but didn’t. He came to the Tigers and has worked tirelessly to lift the standards, change the culture, and help set this club up for something better. Now he has the chance to become the highest-paid player in the league, tax free, and be the face of a new chapter in PNG. As a Tigers fan, I wish him nothing but the best. I’m not going to pretend it’s good riddance or act like we don’t need him. We do. He deserves every cent. I’m sad to see him go, but I’m grateful we still get another 18 months of Jarome Luai helping build the mentality this club has been missing.

Trying to get sharper means tracking the bad reads properly too, not just the wins. Easy to remember the good calls. Harder to look at the bets where you talked yourself into it. That's usually where the best lessons are.

Thank god the NRL brought in those one week player loans from the Super league, we definitely need the extra help 😅😂

One thing I’m trying to get better at is not forcing bets just because a game’s on. No edge = no bet. Sounds simple but it probably saves more units than anything else. A lot of the worst bets are the ones you never really liked in the first place.

Here is a profitable trading strategy that works: 5 Steps For beginning algo traders like myself it's easier to start with a proven concept rather than try to discover a new edge. My contribution to other beginning algo traders out there is one of my fav long / short strategies out there that I use myself. Here is one of my own algos... ORB - Opening Range Breakout The strat is based on a daily event (the opening range) where big money orders in high volume get entered into the market. My take on it is that range is where the market decides the direction and momentum of the day. Then after the first 15,30,60 mins of market open you wait for a 5m candle close outside that range. That break of the range is what I trade. 1. Time: 9:30 market opening range: The highest volume of orders get executed at this time throughout the day on average. The key is to wait the chaos out and let the range form. I use the 15m range. 2. Bias: Long or Short Above range & vwap = Long Below range & vwap = Short 3. Entry: Range Break 5m candle close outside of the range and aligned with vwap 4. Position sizing: 1-3 contracts I have found that 3 work best here but only use one - Momentum - Size of range - Vwap distance (prior post has explanation) 5. Exit: Time or Price EOD 5m close below vwap 5m close on other side of range I have seen many people teach strategies and concepts about trading the opening range but rarely a 15 year backtest on their logic. I have a portfolio of 6 strategies that are all based on daily repeatable events like this one. If you guys find this kind of stuff useful lmk and I'll post more. I have so much to share. Below is just the Long and Short ORB in my fully automated portfolio! $NQ #AlgoTrading #DayTrading

New image model is now the default in Codex. It's incredible as a starting point for building websites or to generate assets for video games and codex can use it as any other tool in its toolkit. Asked Codex what it pictures my day looks like given we hit 4M active users today.

Damn... Was looking at the model just and I now realise just how lucky people are that have a Coral or Ladbrokes shop near them. The amount of value the model is picking up on those bookmakers is insane😳 Is it unreasonable to consider relocating just to be closer to one of the shops...😅

We're really cooking up something special here with the betting models. JC has early access to 'SH Sharp' and found this absolute beauty today... Yes.. Yates SOT was priced at 5.5💣😳

Hate seeing punters hand over their hard-earned thinking they're following a profitable tipster. In the NRL there's plenty of quality, free betting content out there - I'm sure the same applies in AFL circles. Do your homework and don't fall for the hype! #AFL #Betting

@AusSportsTrader Yea he's got no edge i was with him for a season of a few of the sports and he would not report losers and overall POT was like -2% so not even profitable. Obvisouly the way he records profit in the tables only means he can record whatever he wants

The other day I got rate-limited on Claude and decided to try MiniMax on @opencode. At one point it had to do a git rebase and even printed out “I need to be very careful here…” It ended up reversing the logic and rather than deleting a small amount of bad code deleted everything *but* that small amount of bad code. Because it was a rebase it deleted all the history of the good code too. And because the rebase was massive git immediately gc’d, nuking the reflog too. I’d been working on this project for days and hadn’t uploaded it to GitHub (so stupid). It was customer work I’d committed to delivering the next day. Installed file recovery tools, checked cursor caches, looked everywhere. Nothing. Then I remembered @opencode’s snapshot feature. The ui didn’t work perfectly but it had the data. Few quick minutes of bash later and I had the entire project back. Forever fan.

⭐️These plans are still the best. Buy them now while they’re still this cheap. They will rise like GLM plans!!! Today I coded for 3 hours, constant refactoring, code reviews etc. Just 2% weekly usage. 2%! 45000 requests per week. The quality is really good, at least like Sonnet 4.5. Very fast. Also one of 3 best models for OpenClaw or Hermes. Mark my words. This is the last time you’ll see prices this low.
Mateusz Mirkowski tweet media
Mateusz Mirkowski@llmdevguy

OK that was fast.. GLM 5.1 was the best model in terms of quality and price. For just few days.🙈 For this price it's still good option, but instead of 72$ I would rather pay 100$ for codex. More reliable models. For GLM go for OpenCode GO for 5 usd. 4400 requests per month is not bad to play with it. It's slow, but works. If you like it go with lite. King of value stays with MiniMax 2.7.

@ibocodes minimax is the worst AI I've ever seen. It doesn't work with anything connected, its desktop is awful, it messes up the code and breaks lines on its own. It's like a 3-year-old with a mouse on a computer. I wasted my valuable money on this garbage.
