@chadvautherine @DavidSmoak @NickiCollen @BaylorWBB Men’s and Women’s teams from Texas are 8-0 so far in the two NCAA tournaments.
That’ll end quickly with 2 16 seeds from Texas, but ignoring those, it’s been a great start.
English

#Baylor was down six entering the 4Q. @NickiCollen looked her seniors in the eyes and said "These are the last 10 minutes of your career, how do you want them to go?"
@BaylorWBB then completed the comeback. It worked! #SicEm
English

@ESPNInsights Baylor didn’t make the tournament in 2003.
No tournament in 2020 obviously.
But the other 23 years, yes.
English

@Baylor @BaylorWBB Baylor next plays Duke. Have those teams already played each other this season? Who won?

BEARS WIN!!!! 🐻🏀
@BaylorWBB toughs out the win over Nebraska -- the Bears' 23rd straight NCAA first-round victory!

@ghostweb3_X @_PW3__ @danorlovsky7 There are no quarters in men's college basketball.
There are 1-and-1 free throws in men's college basketball.
You can't advance the ball to the front court via a timeout in men's college basketball.
English

@_PW3__ @danorlovsky7 Basketball is the same at every level buddy. Only thing different is a shot clock and quarter length lol
English

Watch the Santa Clara coach right as they make the 3 to take the lead…he goes to call the timeout immediately but doesn’t get it granted….
Ref has to be aware of this no?!?!?
Matt Jones@KySportsRadio
I will watch this 1,000 times in my life
English

@ghostweb3_X @danorlovsky7 You can in college basketball. You are thinking about the NBA.
English

@danorlovsky7 You can’t call a timeout while the other team has the ball… lol but Dan is a “sports analyst”
English

@danorlovsky7 "immediately"
That was not immediately. The pause is what killed him.

@0xFarlight @bitfloorsghost Why is there a crosswalk at a cul-de-sac?

@DoctorLemma This happened at multiple NCAA College Football games this season, involving people taking their shirts off and waving them above their heads. Starting with 1 person and turned into thousands, multiple times at multiple stadiums.

Sixteen years ago, one man stood alone on a grassy hill at a music festival in Washington State, USA, and started dancing by himself. People glanced over and looked away. Some laughed. His roommate leaned in and warned him people were filming him.
He did not stop.
Then one stranger got up and joined him.
Then another.
Then the hillside tipped. Within minutes, hundreds of people were sprinting from across the field to be part of something that, thirty seconds earlier, had been one man being laughed at in a field.
Someone filming from higher up the hill said quietly: "See what one man can do. One man can change the world."
The clip spread across the internet in 2009. Entrepreneur Derek Sivers played it at a TED conference to explain how movements actually begin. Not with the first person brave enough to start, he argued, but with the first person willing to join them.
Collin Wynter, the man dancing alone, later said he had no idea he had done anything special. He was just tired of watching everyone sit still.

@pauldunderwood @SicEm365 They famously have only been Bears for 1 year.
The whole team is new, including those who are seniors.
English

@AustinCory @SicEm365 Of course! They've been devoted Bears for 4 long years. I say let em' play!

Baylor has accepted an invitation to compete in the College Basketball Crown, a postseason tournament in Las Vegas for eight teams that didn’t make the NCAA Tournament.
The Bears will open The Crown against the Minnesota Golden Gophers (15-17) at 9:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, April 1.
