@JConnol We used SmartExam from @BrightMD_Health instead of going to urgent care, which was a life saver on a Sunday night when my wife was watching multiple kids and I needed to get to the airport. Had prescription in-hand in <1h. Urgent care had 3h wait.

@JConnol Agreed! And for many low acuity visits, asynchronous may be the preferred approach by doc and patient. Wasteful and inefficient to consume synchronous resources just to bill.

We desperately need to figure out how to reimburse asynchronous care.
There's lots of benefits:
-Reducing physician burnout,
Increasing access to care by improving physician efficiency,
-Making care more convenient and patient-centered.
