As a woman, I am deeply horrified. Tennessee Republicans are so “pro-life” that they proposed a bill that would allow the death penalty for women who have an abortion. Let that sink in. The death penalty. For a medical decision. This is beyond extreme. It’s not about protecting life... it’s about controlling women’s bodies through fear and punishment. Calling this “pro-life” while threatening women with execution is not just hypocritical, it’s inhumane. Leave women alone.

@jk_rowling You're lacking a third category for neither man nor woman, which I called a Nonely in my 4th Tarkas novel (where they have Nonelies, Onlies, and Doubles). A man who doesn't want to be a man may reject it, prefer to be 'mostly-she'. They will never be 'she'.

I've never attacked any woman for not being 'woman enough.' That's a concept I don't recognise. You either are, or you aren't, a woman. What I've done is say 'you are a man' to men like you, who're angry because you believe you're owed my participation in your fantasy life. 1/

For anyone confused: Robert Galbraith is a pen name, that means it’s a fake name J.K. Rowling uses when writing crime novels. She did this so people would judge the books without knowing she wrote them, giving her a fresh start in a new genre.

@1goodtern That's what they want, destruction. They don't value what was created, and perhaps rightly so, so rather than repair they're going for a teardown. Whether anything new and better will get built is anybody's guess.

I don't see any endgame here other than destruction. Can anyone tell me if there's something I've missed? Why would Trump shut down information sharing about potential pandemic causing pathogens like bird flu?

@JoJoFromJerz They weren't throwing away democracy, they were throwing away a government apparatus that had some toxic side effects. It would have been better perhaps to repair the apparatus we had, but they decided to tear it all down, where it may or may not ever be rebuilt in a better form.
