@neil__to NQ/ES - basically no edge 99% of the time, in 1% opportunity is exceptional. Most people can’t wait long enough for that, so you need to do something else in between.

Why small-cap traders often fail in mid/large caps: 1. Wrong expectations Small-cap shorting is huge negative skew: lots of cozy little wins, then the occasional account-destroying loss. People get addicted to that smooth green P&L stream. Large caps don’t distribute returns like that, unless you’re doing something like selling naked options. 2. Too mechanical “Buy every breakout” or “buy every dip” is not enough. There are way more factors to weigh than just “it’s China, avoid.” 3. Not enough capital In unlevered large caps, 20–30% annually is actually very good. But if your account is $50k, that doesn’t feel like enough to matter, so people start forcing trades or adding bad leverage.

Excited to hit this milestone again this year. I hit $1M at the end of last year and had a drawdown since then. Due to the historic market rebound in April 2026, I am able to hit new highs in my accounts and surpass $1M. 🎉

@TradersConf How mamy trades did it make since 2010 assuming this is real? If it's less rhan 1000 is overfit.

My trading automation averaged 40-50% a year since 2010 on my backtesting. Tried it live for 3 months and it lost -80%. How do people even make trading automation work?

@AutiTrader Aquí nadie ha hablado de foIIar sin condón. Estamos en FinX, aquí lo que más se valora al foIIar es el precio del preservativo y si sube un 30% pues hay que reducir la frecuencia (los que la puedan reducir).

Silenzio Bruno! Si eres trader discresional, esto te va a servir: Cuando eres trader discresional, hay veces que eres hipócritca con tus ejecuciones. Si bien en tu plan sabes que hay una oportunidad buena, pues es un setup con EV positivo (Probabilidad de escenario x Risk/Reward), pero tus miedos y ansiedad comienzan a ver escenarios contrarios y tratan de sabotear tu plan. Luego que ejecutas, mientras estas en el play, hay una voz que no para de decirte: "Se va a voltear" "Este nivel esta aguantando demasiado" "Este contexto de mercado no es el mejor para este play" "El tape esta muy rápido/lento para esta posición" "No me siento cómodo con este size" "La podrían haltear al lado contrario y voy a tener slipage" etc etc etc.... Esta escena de Luca te dice exactamente lo que tienes que hacer para ejecutar tu plan a cabalidad: youtube.com/watch?v=UBq1sC… La voz de la cabeza de Luca está ahí para protegerlo de todo riesgo. Estamos diseñados para ser adversos al riesgo y por eso nuestra naturaleza se enfoca en protegernos ante cualqueir escenario incierto. Por esto el trading es tan dificil. Alberto soy yo diciendote: "deja la m4riconerí4 y metele al setup q estas aplicando. Calla la voz que te hace improvisar y no seguir tu plan. Size up y espera por tu escenario que no es incierto, pues solo tienes 2 outcomes: o ganas dinero o pierdes dinero. Siempre esta consciente de que estes ok con cualqueira de los 2 outcomes (De aqui viene la gestión del riesgo)" Asi que la próxima vez que se te aparezca un setup, lo planifiques, lo ejecutes, y mientras estas dentro de la posición, la voz te comienza a sabotear tu plan, incitandote a improvisar.. tu dile: SILENZIO BRUNO! Y sigue ejecutando tu plan. No es tan facil... lo se... pero mientras más experiencia tengas, más fácil se hace callar a Bruno. PD: Bruno nunca desaparece.... es un c4bron... Envidio a los traders élite que no sufren de esto

De hace años, cuando no había IA. Me fui así de fiesta. Esta fue en Carnaval pero una vez fui de chica de cabaret en Viernes Santo solo por las risas. Hoy si publicara estas mierdas la peña diría: este no puede estar tan loco, tiene que ser IA. Por eso la mayoría de randomeces que hago a diario ya ni las grabo. 😂

Si puedes PIGNORAR tus FONDOS… por qué casi nadie lo usa? Piénsalo. Si puedes pedir 10.000€ con garantía de tus fondos y pagar aprox. un 3,25% Por qué no usar ese dinero para comprar un ETF de reparto como el JPMorgan Global Equity Premium Income, que está pagando alrededor de un 8,5% neto? Haz números: ➡️ 10.000€ prestados ➡️ 3,25% de coste = 325€ al año ➡️ 8,5% neto de dividendo = 850€ al año Te quedan: 🟢 525€ al año de margen Y eso antes de amortizar principal. Crees que es demasiado riesgo para poco retorno?

Mes lechuga, fué verde si. Pero sabe a poco y te deja con hambre.
