@bufinjer @FatAsFunk I've removed my music from Soundcloud because of this. Really sucks. It's fine opting into a deal if you are going to get paid for it, but this is some real shady back-room stuff they are doing.

@FatAsFunk Yea, if they are using your music for ANY reason then you should get paid, at least a cut. All music or music use sites should do the same, any use should pay the artists!

Unsettling that Soundcloud has a new T&C that allows uploaded music to be used to train AI - without any payment to artists! SC will be getting paid lots. It's one thing to have your music used to train AI IF you are making money from the deal & agree, but not cool otherwise.

I deleted my music from Soundcloud because of this. If it gets used to train AI I want to be paid for it! Sucky behaviour from @SoundCloud
