Very honoured to win the commercial aviation category at the Asia Aerospace Media Awards in Singapore last night (for feature in Vietnam’s aviation industry)

This is the new(ish) Air NZ Lookout Lounge at Auckland Airport - it’s essentially a temporary overflow lounge used during the morning and late afternoon/evening peaks. This one and the main lounge will close when the new bigger lounge is completed

Kind of a murky day at Auckland Airport, but Jean says it’s good for flying. Traveling to Sydney with my father to see my aunt

@Nirgal451 They'll just go the other way! FWIW, great circle route from Sydney to London doesn't go anywhere near Qatar.

@tmurphyNZ Only about 2 years of his 20+ year career were spent as Luxon's press sec. Also worth noting that he held important beats at multiple major titles in NZ. In my experience he was a careful, fair and thoroughly professional journo. This is a good choice.

NZME appoints Chris Luxon's former chief press secretary Hamish Rutherford to chair its NZ Herald editorial advisory board. Founding chair Miri Alexander becomes associate editor. The 4-person board also includes Brent Webling who was press sec to 3 other National leaders.

@analyticflying Its already been a huge marketing win. They've done very well to keep it in the headlines for nearly 10 years with regular announcements, studies and updates. Its captured a lot of global attention for QF- it should be taught as a marketing case study!

We're getting a little nervous about this 🤣 Working through it, it's becoming clear that Project Sunrise is a “deal with the devil”. We're realising that few people get it, including market analysts & industry leaders. It's either going to rock them or go over their heads 🤣
