Your answer is appreciated. I believe if the trans community followed that premise, more people would be agreeable to accommodate things like trans bathrooms in places where they would be practical. The US is a Constitutional Republic. It's not a Theocracy where a religion controls everything. It's not a pure democracy where the majority controls everything. There's room for differences and protection for minorities, but there are limits, and some of the ideology pushed by the trans community creates problems for them and others.

That absolutely not all they ask for. No one cares if a guy walks around wearing a dress. But if he walks into a woman's restroom, we care. If he tries to play female sports, we care. If he tries to push drugs and sex change surgeries on children, we care. This isn't hard to understand. Leave others alone, and they leave you alone. You mess with children or women people care.

Trans people shouldn’t have to hide the fact they’re trans for the comfort of horrible people. Trans people shouldn’t force themselves into the wrong spaces to spare the feelings of bigots. Trans people shouldn’t restrict themselves because transphobes are such fragile losers.
