My dearest @blink155pod
I've missed you very, very much since that last episode we were together
And will hold that episode especially in my memories for years to come
I've been turning it over and over in my mind lately
I've listened to your comp through at least ten times
we asked our former guests to contribute covers for the “dammit” episode. some of them invited some friends to help. the result is ‘been here for too long,’ a compilation of 28 covers that demonstrate the versatility of this song: blink-155.bandcamp.com/album/been-her…
There’s two videos online of the chainsmokers and blink (matt included) writing that one song. I wish it was out in time for that one sclusie. Watching them group think the line “he works downtown in finance” is gold.

Only done this a handful of times over the years...
From my cheap seats....
Listening to the Dammit episdoe of @blink155pod at work with my headphones on. My boss came in and startled me. My jump made my headphones unplug as Sam said "People were becoming sexually active" and I said "Blink 155 pod" and he nodded, though he wouldn't know what that means.
In loving memory of the pod, I have spent the last few months going through all of the covers and making a 55-minute mixtape of the very best in acoustic, teen bedroom, ska, remixes, and of course - nightcore.
This is part 1 of 3. Long live @blink155podsoundcloud.com/downdowndowndo…
On this day 14 years ago, +44 released When Your Heart Stops Beating!
Often described by @markhoppus as his most personal work and widely regarded as his magnum opus, WYHSB is a cathartic record boldly blending punk-rock and electronic elements elevated by sincere lyricism.
Important point- Don’t ever hurt dogs. Americans will go to war and lay pain across the galaxy for such an evil. John Wick already showed the world the repercussions one shall face.
it’s refreshing to have a Friday afternoon where I’m not flooded with anxiety over the worry that some canadian podcasters will talk shit about me to thousands of people
