Demon Slayer having a “simple story” doesn’t make it bad. Simple ≠ mid. By that logic, every childhood story we grew up loving is “mid” too, but no one calls them that

They prioritize which episodes will look good and which episode to sacrifice the visuals. 1hr runtime for ech ep which is outrageous with very minimal animators and time. Anyone with critical thinking can see that those are factors for poor work conditions

Damn, I lowkey prefer the overall aesthetic of S1, ngl. It had this dreamy, nostalgic vibe to it. I also prefer the old character designs, the new style isn't bad at all it’s amazing but it looks over processed and a bit 'too clean' compared to the S1 style.

@ryusenkei_ @dltajax The only problem why some true combos arent possible in mobile is because of the hitbox difference. Toad in pc has bigger hitbox, toad reliant combos always miss in mobile unless the opponent is backed up to the wall. But yeah that strat sword combo looks like it only works in pc

@Tachyon689713 @KilZeroZ Its each to their own. I prefer ufotables work because of its strong drawings polished quality. There are times where the action is unreadable in jjk. The way they did infinity castle is the reason why I call ufotables work as "cinema"

@Avi_Avryn @KilZeroZ I don't know if cinema is the correct word to use on DS. For example, jjk let's the raw animation power carry the flow, but it's more cinematic all thanks to the corresponding cinematic camera framing and direction.

Animation= tied Writings = Ds Fights= JJK, although DS has one of the greatest fight in the history of anime, not too sure on this one. Better characters = JJK
