@OContandor @DjsAviation Doubtful that it’ll change anything. The brand has been destroyed. It was once on our ops centre Slack, now we’d fire an intern for sharing it.

@DjsAviation What’s specifically is increasing deeper into 2026? Your desperation for engagement?

@wingXaviation If you think Madrid is medium level difficulty then your standards are very low. It’s the easiest of easy. Sad!

@KaptainPetrovs How many cabin refurb programmes have you run or worked on?! My guess is zero since it’s a question that would only be asked by Paki shitposters!

Whaaaaat? A single 787-8 took 260 days or approx. 7 months to retrofit. Air India has 26 787-8s in its fleet. Can someone do the math? How many years/decades will the retrofit take? Sorry, guys, I'm not going to wait for it, until I become a grandmom. Ta-ta!

@KaptainPetrovs That’s not their livery and certainly not an aircraft they operate. Fucking embarrassing!

AKASA's 38th✈️VT-YBK had its 4th Test Flight Pending Delivery in April 2026 (see web link) ⭕️VT-YBK was in Boeing storage since Sept 2025 ⭕️No new ✈️ for QP has come off Boeing assembly line in last 4 months. QP might be stuck at "38" for awhile. aviation.flights/boe/date/2026-…

@gingerb71214461 @analyticflying Suspect you're making this up or they're having you on. I'm in the ops team in QF IOC you're talking utter rubbish. Yesterday we blocked about 20 seats more than usual to reduce payload. Flight carries negligible freight westbound (just mail). Today blocking 30 total.

@analyticflying It arrived earlier than the previous days when it tracked over Dubai. And I’m told by LHR agents it had same freight as always. But hey, you do you.

Most Middle Eastern airlines are grounded due to airspace closures, but others like Qantas are flying regular schedules, with some routings adjusted e.g. QF9 Perth-London isn't taking its typical route, rather routing further north via India, Pakistan, Afghanistan & Black Sea. It'll add 30 mins to flight & require lager payload restrictions, reducing cargo or passenger load. This costs more in fuel & lost revenue! If the situation persists they may introduce a tech-stop in Singapore so that they can carry their usual cargo and passenger loads. The longer the flight, the bigger the impact & more likely they'll have to take steps to mitigate. Other airlines like Singapore will be affected and respond similarly. Both Qantas & Singapore have added limitation of not being able to transit Russian airspace, while others (e.g. Chinese) can use Russian airspace if needed. Biggest externality will be for Indian airlines who can't transit Pakistan.

@BLRAviation @rishiviate As someone who works in an airline IOC it's quite frankly insulting & degrading to see a comment like that from someone with zero professional experience in the area. He has no fucking idea what he's talking about.

After @KaptainPetrovs bitchin' about 7 fully assembled Akasa planes gathering dust at Boeing Land, QP's 3rd plane takes its 3rd test flight. Are 3 planes being prepped for delivery? ⭕️VT-YBL & VT-YBM: 3rd test flight ⭕️VT-YBN: 4th test/customer acceptance aviation.flights/boe/customer/A…

@DonnieMountjoy @analyticflying No skin in the game, but calling it shaming was kind. I’d have gone further- your comments are degrading and sociopathic. And no, your first comment wasn’t polite, it was sarcastic, hence why your second was so horrific.

@analyticflying No shaming from me, unless you feel it yourself, and that's on you not me. I nudged you politely - even said "please". And I never said you were American. I described the offence as typically American. I'll block you now to save us both the trouble of any future interaction.

Incredible video showing the Antartica views flying Australia-Chile. Yes, you'll probably see Antartica, but there's some catches. For those that doubted it a few weeks back: 🔴Only likely on eastbound sectors as westbound takes a more northerly routing 🔴Yes, 24 hours of daylight in summer months no matter the time (24 hours of darkness in winter months) 🔴And yes, crew will allow you to open the window shades to have a look!

Gonna be some nasty payload restrictions on long haul departures out of Melbourne this afternoon. Peak temperature forecast at 44C (2pm), >40 noon to 6pm! Some flights might leave pax behind or take a stop (e.g. QF→LAX/DFW, UA→SFO). Others will have to leave cargo behind (e.g. QR/VA→DOH, EY→AUH, UL→CMB). A lot will depend on actual temperature at departure as difference between 40C and 44C costs 7t payload on a B787-9. That's not even taking into account that 40C is already gonna be restricted! Nice headwind will help, but wind from north means departures on RWY 34 which has a nice little uphill gradient to contend with. Dispatchers gonna earn their money today!
