@AvrilTaylor8

I have the best husband in the world. Had to say a tearful goodbye to our 19 year old cat a few months ago. She will always be in our hearts and greatly missed.

@young__nigel Not a man to upset as the Town First Team found out to their cost. After losing badly one Saturday McEvoy made them come in on the Sunday morning for a full training session. Not pleasant to see grown men throwing up on the pitch because they were being pushed too hard.

New boss Don McEvoy in charge of pre-season training at Peaks Lane. Bob Lenton looks ahead to the week's practice matches and the 1967/68 season. Chris Harker's 10-match run would come to an end when Watford thrashed us 7-1 in December. 📰 Fri 4 August 1967 Louth Standard #GTFC

@young__nigel One of the nicest men i have ever met. Yes he had a rough deal but luckily Chesterfield saw his potential. I knew him and his family well and spent a lot of time with them.

This building should be kept ! We are losing so much of the City of London . The planning committee has the highest approval pass rate of any in the UK 😳. Yet unique urban fabric that needs to be retained as character will be lost . I love this building and admire it often .
Historic Buildings & Places@hbap1924

We've objected to plans to demolish 68–69 Fenchurch Street. We believe this Edwardian building should be adapted, not demolished. The proposal would harm the character of the Lloyd's Avenue Conservation Area, and alternatives have not been properly explored.

@RealDannyTommo Having once been a resident of Chertsey I am indeed standing with them. It was one of the nicest places to live and I never felt fear. Its heartbreaking to think of what the lovely Chertsey people are experiencing.

Today, I stand with the people of Chertsey once again. As more horrific details emerge, Afghan migrants lurking outside schools, women followed at night, men hiding in bushes, and migrants loitering throughout our community, fear has gripped this once-peaceful town. This community is terrified. Parents are scared to send their children to school. Women no longer feel safe walking the streets. Today, the people of Chertsey are taking another courageous stand and I am proud and honoured to stand with them. Well done Chertsey! 🇬🇧

By David Abbruzzes: This Australian's reply to Trump's rant about “NATO not being there for America” is perfect. "Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage. You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail. Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates. Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you. And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban thanked you very much for losing again. And you're calling Greenland poorly run? Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no. 'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years. And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess. So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your f----- mouth." Very well stated.

@MotabilityOps Today you have not been helpful at all. You and the Government have succeeded in making me feel like a third class citizen, stupid and not worth your time. I am disgusted and shocked with your callousness. I have been with you since 2008.

Season's end, #GTFC mid-table. Millwall promoted with Hull. Alex Stepney sold for a record £50,000 to Chelsea. Our eighth May 1966 fixture: 4 scheduled + 2 snowed off (Swindon & Reading) + 2 #Salop games for FA Cup ties (Man City v Town 4th Round, Chelsea v Shrewsbury 5th Round).

@OctopusEnergy Why do you make promises to help and never do. I was promised a call back from a manager when i rang on Monday. Still waiting. I have many complaints to raise and i am seriously thinking of changing to a supplier who can put customers first.
