As a lifelong Stars fan who is 29 years old. I am really emotional about potentially watching Benn’s last game as a Star. Many younger fans think of him as a goon or heel. I watched him usher this franchise into what it is today. He was the transition from Brenden Morrow to the juggernaut it has become. He won an Art Ross. For a few seasons, he was up there with prime Crosby and Ovechkin. He won Gold in 2014 with team Canada. I understand he is a polarizing player, and deserving of criticism lately, but please understand that he is a franchise legend. I have watched him for 17 seasons. His jersey number should never be worn in Dallas ever again. If you retire and never wear Victory Green again. Thank you, Jamie. #TexasHockey

The Avs haven't won in 7 in my LIFETIME. I've seen them win the cup but not seen them win a game 7. Whether they need to this year down the line, or in future years, I need them to overcome this obstacle eventually. Plus, revenge for 2014 would make 10 year old Nicky whole again
