The last time the #Avs came back from an 0-2 series hole was in 1999 when they did it in the second round.
That’s the only time they’ve done it since moving to Denver. The other times they did it came when they were the Nordiques back in 1982 & 1987, per @ESPNInsights

Ultimately Carter Hart has been the difference through two games. Scott Wedgewood hasn't played horrible but he's been outdueled. Hart posted another save percentage above .940 (.967) last night and his team won. Colorado's offense is rolling but they're running into a wall.

The only logical explanation I can think of with Cassidy is that maybe they want him back coaching their team next season, which would be in their right. Torts is only locked in for the remainder of this season. But even that would be ridiculous.
