@jfwong Im waiting. Theres no harm in that. Do not go off of early reviews, let people play it, watch gameplay, then make a more informed decision. I am in the same boat.

I don't think I've been as torn on whether or not to buy a game since Crimson Desert. Trying to read reviews for it and understanding how actually good or bad it is has been a headache in and of itself.

@jfwong For some reason it became a battleground as release neared. Almost none of the reviews are negative, and the cons are largely related to weak main story and some bugs and junk. Just depends how you feel about games primarily focused on exploration

Death Stranding 2 looked stunning on a base PS5. The lighting is pretty damn good for console. Can only imagine what PC is gonna look like. Kojima is on another level

40 FPS is a choice.

@byinvent Cant believe i was refused a refund after saying the game was unoptimised and gave me a migraine due to the blurriness , and now I have to queue tonorrow to some idiot in China for 3 hours trying to explain my reason for a refund

Just refunded Crimson Desert on Xbox Series X. Absolutely HORRIFIC graphics 😂 unplayable even on 40fps. 60fps looks like it’s an April Fools joke. Blurriest game I’ve ever seen.

CRIMSON DESERT starts rough. I honestly disliked the first 8 hrs. Once it opens up and you get more power + abilities, it's a TON of fun. So many gameplay systems but they don't feel cynical or half-baked. I wish there was a better story but combat/exploration hooked me 1/2

@ZeroMissedCallz @JakeBaldino Sometimes when a company recruits you for a paid promotion they have give you a bullet list of things they suggest you talk about. Not saying thats the case here. Its healthy to be skeptical in the big 2026 tho

@JakeBaldino Like there are many different ways to say this, but everyone decided to use the same phrase (even after the preview event). Gives me bad vibes, as if this is some SEO bullshit or everyone really just decided to use the same phrase (go google Crimson Desert and hand-holding).
