If trans women use men’s toilets, they will be subjected to humiliation, abuse and violence.
Anyone with any sense knows this.
Which is why in practice trans women will not use men’s toilets, and will just increasingly be driven out of society.

to be fair Owen I think the utter dominance of the right wing press and its ability to make or break the success of any given political project is a better explanation for "why the left loses" than like, a handful of communists with no institutional power or significant platform
