The Judicial Bench Continues to Impress! We are delighted to announce that Hon. Justice Simon Peter M. Kinobe @SPKinobe2018 , Justice of the High Court of Uganda, Civil Division, has joined the distinguished panel of judges for the Inaugural National Inter-University Labour Law Moot Court Competition, Uganda. Justice Kinobe brings a wealth of experience from the Civil Division of the High Court, where he has handled complex matters with clarity, fairness, and deep legal reasoning. His addition further elevates the calibre of the bench and promises participants insightful, high-level feedback during this groundbreaking competition. This inaugural moot court is shaping up to be a true celebration of legal excellence, where Uganda’s talented law students will hone their advocacy skills and tackle pressing issues in labour law and workers’ rights, particularly around labour externalisation. Another Powerhouse Joins the Bench! We are thrilled to announce that Lady Justice Susan Abinyo , Justice of the High Court of Uganda and Deputy Head of the Commercial Division, will serve as a Judge at the Inaugural National Inter-University Labour Law Moot Court Competition, Uganda With her distinguished career on the High Court bench and deep expertise in commercial and corporate law, Lady Justice Abinyo brings exceptional judicial insight, fairness, and intellectual rigour to this landmark competition. Her presence further strengthens the quality and prestige of the judging panel. This inaugural moot court is not just a competition, it is a platform where Uganda’s most promising law students will sharpen their advocacy skills while engaging critically with vital issues in labour externalisation, workers’ rights, and labour law.
