And I'm not trying to diss the movie, I loved it. And the fact they made so much practical stuff shows that they care. And it allows the under credited armies of artists to do a really good job. The fact that people believe it's all practical, is a testament to their work.

Then they mentioned the no green screen thing, but like green screen is (a lot of the time) just a placeholder for roto. Like just because they didn't use green screen, doesn't mean the environment weren't almost completely fake.

Was talking about Project Hail Mary the other day with some friends, had them start saying that rocky was practical... Why does marketing have to discount work that is being done by people? I said, "I can almost guarantee you that not a single pixel of rocky is real".

@SebAaltonen In some regards? Look im not an expert but in terms of raw power, no? In terms of making a user facing device with features that an average user would want, yes, their chips are perfect for that. They are brilliant at what they do... but the best chips? I reckon Pringles take it.

@tsoding We should stop using tools like Jira and various documentation platforms to deviate from code as the single source of truth. Everything should live in the codebase. As a profession, we failed in this regard, but I’m personally trying to make it happen in the places I influence🤷

Scared about Batman though, if that isn't good... If the Batman/Superman duo isn't banger, I don't even know how I would react. I think Gunn understands what the fans want though, so I have some hope! Am also excited for the cafe scene he cooks up lmao.

Superman was a good movie and I'll fight anyone who thinks otherwise, I walked out of it happy and full of hope. Yes it wasn't subtle, yes the character arcs... well they didn't exist. But WHO CARES? It's this or Iron Heart atm... #SupermanMovie
