@DevOsef If youre talking "power crept at its time" they dont even make top 20.
Y1 Tether, OG Recluse, OG Izzy, Warmind Cells, Well, Autoreload, Grapple Melee, 2-4 Punch, slug Swapping.
There are so many power creep options for their times that eventually got nerfed/tuned down.
English

@AyyItsChevy so TG and Forbearance dontt count because they were nerfed? a weapon being nerfed later does not change how much power creep it represented at its peak, the discussion is about the biggest power creep of all time not which weapon is the strongest right now
English

Well is the absolute biggest power creep in all of Destiny.
Followed by Divinity, Prismatic and 3.0 Subclasses
Trinity Ghoul is pretty high up there also.
Henry@THREEPEDWOOD
is it crazy to say forbearance was the biggest single power creep in d2?
English

@AyyItsChevy And neither of those encounters make you uncomfortable.
I’m advocating for real mobility. Jumping on walls, ceilings, zipping around the room. A flying boss, perhaps? Maybe multiple copies forcing fireteams to split up rather than standing shoulder to shoulder.
English

@S3Plan The only boss that fits this combat style is Rhulk and 2nd encounter SE which both can be well+div barrel stuffed to prevent movement. Only time its potentially an issue is master content where you might need extra dr or healing for Rhulk (or just walk in a circle)
English

@AyyItsChevy Bosses who move around with enough speed to make you uncomfortable is a nerf to both Well and Divinity.
But, we get 90% of our bosses simply standing still for 30 seconds
English

@AyyItsChevy the biggest is mint, it just made every other specials useless, even the exotics that came with it, even the heavy where just tertiary option, it was literally the go to gun for everything in 1 year i believe it was trully the biggest powercreep
English

@KotoneJiyeon Loadouts I'd put up there as a top contender but Resilience doesn't exist anymore so that doesnt. For its time, absolutely.
I'll go a step further and say "DR stats altogether" for sure. Resilience started it, Woven Mail piled on, then we just started getting all the 3.0 stuff
English

@AyyItsChevy Introduction of in-game loadouts are also a pretty big one but people aren't ready for that conversation
English

@DeltaOm3ga @EsuEsuEsuuu @RSchi_pa_pa I should've been a bit more specific. The Volatile Rounds from the artifact/fragment were absurdly strong. That was the Funnelweb era and it was debatably stronger than OG Recluse. I racked up 100k kills in like 1-2 seasons until they added a cooldown to it.
English

@EsuEsuEsuuu @AyyItsChevy @RSchi_pa_pa This is true. Wasn't it originally just the volatile burst, then they reworked it to give you volatile rounds on kills now (the perk description is misleadingly phrased)

English

@RSchi_pa_pa If I recall, void was first for 3.0 with destabilizing rounds which was absurdly busted for what the Sandbox was at the time. Then it just kept going, yeah.
English

@AyyItsChevy Solar 3.0 felt like the tipping point to me.
It wasn't just the class, it came with Incandescent. Huge leap for highly syngergistic builds with constant buff/debuff uptime and nonstop AoE spam.
When voltshot came out I knew they were never gonna pull it back.
English

@HumbleKatsu It's good for people that aren't heavy add clear, or for situations where there aren't a lot of Powerful+ Enemies. Really just depends on what content you're running and what type of player you are.
I definitely think KF > overall, however
English

@AyyItsChevy Its a 12 second cooldown lmao its not worth it at all lmao
