JUST IN: Senator @AZDavidGowan is supporting veterans suffering with PTSD with an emergency measure that allows police officers who are employees of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the authority to transport veterans for emergency admission evaluations. SB 1163 passed out of the Senate with bipartisan support.

I have never discussed a deal, agreed to a deal or been part of some secretive deal to move certain Senator’s special interest bills that are fat, bloated and in some instances likely unconstitutional.

After moving 3 budget bills this morning, the Senate Appropriations Committee has recessed indefinitely due to House Leadership Members going back on a promise to push forward some important Senate budget bills, including the continuation of @AZRegents. @DavidGowanAZ explains⬇️
