If you are a doctor who doesn't believe in the effectiveness of Covid vaccines then you are in the wrong job.

For the avoidance of doubt: Vaccines work. 135 million doses given in the U.K. Nearly ten billion doses given worldwide. Plenty of evidence. Plenty of protection. Help us to help you. #GetVaccinated #GetBoosted #NHS #COVID19

Exciting day! Omicron antibody test working beautifully - waning at 6 months post 2nd dose but 3rd dose booster post AZ or Pfizer - brilliant levels against omicron. True for a haemodialysis population too. Booster strategy looks sound @sfaustini @immunologydoc @BanhamGemma

Amid all the talk of boosters, we still have to face the dire reality that more than 4 in 10 Brummies have not yet had a single jab. Not a single dose. In some of our most deprived areas and where population majority Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Black, the take up’s even lower…

Wow 😯 cases have jumped steeply today. We need 1) social distancing and masks to reduce transmission 2) oral antivirals to keep people out of hospital 3) enough drugs, beds and staff in hospital to give those admitted the best care we can

Natural immunity from covid: Prof Paul Moss @VivaldiBham says Sars immunity lasted ten years and he is hopeful that having already had Covid WILL protect against Omicron too. @bbcmtd

For boosters based on ancestral spike to manage 70-75% VE against Omicron is nothing short of phenomenal and I don’t understand how that is not the message. It could have been far, far worse and substantially exceeds anything I expected. Please get vaccinated.

I don't know who needs to hear this but Polio and smallpox never reached natural herd immunity. They were eradicated by vaccines.
