And in that group, it was especially loud from Arabs who seem allergic to Kurdish identity, Kurdish history, and Kurdish existence. A “global” chat where Kurds are kicked out for being Kurds is not global. It is just another little echo chamber for insecure people who cannot handle a nation refusing to disappear. The irony is insane, they hate Kurds for wanting dignity, rights, and recognition while acting exactly like the regimes that tried to erase us. Kurds survived Saddam, Assad, Erdoğan, ISIS, chemical attacks, displacement, denial, and decades of being told we do not exist. A group chat full of Arab racists and fragile egos is not going to break us. Kurds are not going anywhere. Live with it. 😌

I knew better at 20 than to reject a fundamental part of Judaism and Jewish identity. We have prayed too hard, and longed for our return to our homeland since the Roman expulsion.
