Meta just killed its Metaverse project after sinking ~$80B into it!
(That's more than the GDP of many countries.)
Horizon Worlds is Meta's VR social platform - the one Zuck bet the entire company on when he renamed Facebook to "Meta" in 2021 and called the metaverse "the next frontier."
It's getting pulled from Quest VR headsets by March 31.
Fully gone from VR on June 15.
After that, it lives on as a mobile-only app.
Now, to be clear - Meta's not done with hardware...
Quest headsets still exist.
But the social metaverse vision (the idea of persistent virtual worlds where we work, play, and live) is dead.
At least at Meta.
R.I.P, metaverse.

The CLARITY Act says: issuers not allowed to pay yield on deposits.
BOLD has no central issuer.

A veteran watch dealer with nearly 30 years in the business says the fake Rolex market has quietly crossed a line most people don’t realize.
Years ago, spotting a fake was easy.
“You could hand it to me and before you finished your sentence I’d say… nope, fake.”
But now?
He says the new wave of “super clone” Rolex watches look so convincing that he can’t judge them by eye anymore.
Now he has to:
• Open the watch
• Put on a jeweler’s loupe
• Inspect every detail inside and out
And even then… it’s getting harder.
According to him, the factories producing these clones are improving every single year, and within the next 2–3 years, he believes it could become nearly impossible for anyone without decades of experience to tell the difference.
He says the same thing is already happening in luxury jewelry.
“Just like Cartier. They stopped authenticating Cartier bangles and Van Cleef pieces because the replicas got so good they couldn’t reliably tell the difference.”
The bigger problem?
He says fewer young watchmakers are entering the trade, meaning fewer experts who even know what to look for.
If “super clones” become indistinguishable from the real thing… what happens to the entire luxury watch market?

Refund is also working. It caused me a headache.
- There was a unique constraint on the tokenId so the record got discarded when token was minted. Game2 begins from tokenId 1. The frontend refund connects the CD key through the tokenId.

Dynamic metadata and frozenmetada after claim is fully functional. Reveal is also fixed. The project is coming together :) I have an issue with refund button not showing up after mint.
