@giantroo Answered his own question when they started rolling footage and it’s the same reason Trembath hasn’t been sighted lately. Souv leading back to goal and flopping is annoying but 95% of our inside 50’s are kicked to a pack of like 15 guys

@bennington_cj JK vs Sydney to lock onto Blakey. He is signed until 2028 and he will play again sometime. Goater has had a fair block of work, maybe the week off was to freshen up for this game. I would rather 50% game time from him than 80% from Corr. Goater looked good in the VFL.

@kangamerchant @ArdenStReview I think that to date, we've played some defenders out of necessity because there's no one banging the door down. I really hope Hardeman gets a go soon because his ability to change up the angles by foot out of defence is top notch

@ArdenStReview Hasn’t even been an emergency yet which suggests he’s been building up fitness. Has to be in this week - preseason was great, and his run and dash was a feature in the VFL.

@JesseC Dovaston needs time to find the pace. I'd bring in Harvey after a good run in the VFL. We need a change in the tackling, but will need Comben and Logue for their big men. Maybe Corr for Hardeman

If Taylor Goad was playing this week, surely @NMFCOfficial would have said something by now, as they have done with many debutants in the past. Presumably his relatives would need time to organise travel arrangements from SA. Just sayin'.

The club has taken some massive strides this year that has to be absolutely applauded. But I think for me the one thing that has some question marks is selection integrity on a week by week basis. Probably gets a pass because of our 3-2 record but GEE some decisions 🤷‍♂️

We play in basically 48 hours and I’m beyond scared. I think my bottle of faith and any expectations has emptied but I need them to come out with fight, smash Essendon and show last weekend was just a blip across two quarters. But I know how the story line will go…

@KangaCanadiens We need to bring our pressure game and not submit to theirs. We had zero pressure around the ball and WC waltzed out of stoppages. If we do that again, we will lose irrespective of opponent

For me, ideally, North beats Essendon comfortably and puts in a four-quarter game. Get a shaky win against Carlton, with the occasion getting to the boys, but they push through. Then we lose, but are competitive against the Lions. Then beat the Tigers. Let's see what happens.

@repgatu2 @_Daniel_Pell Wow.....Xerri was a monster on the weekend. The issue is more to do with defensive positioning of our mids allowing WC to walk out of stoppages

@_Daniel_Pell if it makes xerri run at more than 2km/ph and comben takes 10 intercepts every game then let it happen. doubtful though, we'll see where the club is at in another 3 years or so.
