MIN: Do you know how much new energy China put online last year? BURGUM: Intermittent or base load? MIN: All energy. 543 GW. How much was renewable? 434 GW. BURGUM: But only when the wind is blowing and sun is shining MIN: Meanwhile, the US put up 53 GW of new energy last year -- less than 10% of China. You're clear bias against renewables is harming our national security.

BREAKING! US court ha suspended the US sanctions against me! As the judge says: "Protecting the Freedom of speech is always just the public interest". Thanks to my daughter and my husband for stepping up to defend me, and everyone who has helped so far. Together we are One.

Isreal is doing to Lebanon as they did to Gaza… FATHER AND SON KILLED FOR WALKING HOME. They didn't carry weapons; they carried memories and a simple dream of going home.

APAN, the voice of the Palestinian community in Australia has been refused leave appear at the RC on antisemitism and social cohesion. Denying Palestinian Australians who have had relatives slaughtered in the Israeli genocide in Gaza is a denial of natural justice,

🚨MAJOR BREAKING: Donald Trump has arrived in China to find that President XI did NOT greet him at the airport. MAGA is in spin mode heralding the “red carpet treatment,” but the visit is already at a rocky start. Instead of a presidential welcome, Trump was greeted by US Ambassador to China David Perdue; Xi’s vice president, Han Zheng; China’s Ambassador to Washington Xie Feng; and Executive Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Ma Zhaoxu. I’m sure Trump would hate if you shared this and rubbed it in all day long.

US citizens Rupert/Lachlan Murdoch go full smear on Australian Treasurer Chalmers’s justified corrective to our country’s distorted property market. Housing unaffordability had to be confronted. But the Murdochs’ propaganda rags call this a “communist manifesto”. Pathetic.

Insane how 3 deaths from Hantavirus brings more attention to Western media than Zionists killing +2,870 civilians in Lebanon.

You need to be power to break promises, and One Nation never will be. It is a grievance circus, little else.
Andrew Warden@AndrewWarden1

@Peter_Fitz So if Farley doesn't tear up net zero or deliver cheaper power to Farrer can we criticise ON for breaking promises?

Bless the Murdoch tabloids and their biased shite. How did they react when Tony Abbott and the Liberal Party broke major election promises? They praised it. Here is a reminder. Enjoy! Also, cry me a river!

Remember, always, that Murdoch’s NewsCorpse pays no tax in Australia. None. Zip. SFA. Hasn’t for years. Any lecture on tax from a Murdochracy rag is drenched in hypocrisy.
Doug Cameron@DougCameron51

The promoters of greed, neo liberalism and division are out in force. Labor takes a modest step to egalitarianism, fair taxation and building a good society and the Murdoch press hyperventilates. Jim Chalmers can do much more but this is a start. Labor must stand firm.

Albanese reminds PK of another reason why Libs were smashed in Farrer after “all the boys” in the Liberal Party conspired to knife Sussan Ley in the back “on the day of a funeral of a former colleague” “51% of the people who vote in Farrer are women.”💥 #auspol

Hey Albo! Can you explain why the Jewish community gets $604m and the Muslim community $24m? Or: $5209 per Jewish Australian. $29 per Muslim Australian. I'm sure there's a really good reason, so what is it?

The current CGT tax concessions and negative gearing are a form of government welfare for the wealthy at taxpayer expense. 83% of CGT benefits go to the top 10% of income earners. 53% of negative gearing benefits go to the top 20% of income earners. theguardian.com/news/2026/may/…

@DaveSharma Why is intergenerational wealth only for the wealthy. Do you own investment properties shares or trusts. If so declare your conflict if interest. The budget has nothing for Homeless mothers have far less security for their children than a Jewish synagogue or school.

Interesting how “intergenerational equity” suddenly only matters when someone proposes touching tax concessions on investment income. Where was this outrage when younger Australians were being priced out of housing, crushed by rent increases, hit with bracket creep, and told to compete for scarce homes while asset prices exploded? The current system already heavily rewards those who got into assets early. That is why wealth gaps between generations have widened so dramatically. And grandfathering existing arrangements is not some evil conspiracy. It’s how governments avoid retrospectively detonating people’s financial planning overnight. You can debate whether the reforms are good, bad, too broad or too weak. Fair enough. But pretending the pre-existing system represented some golden age of fairness for younger Australians is fantasy. The real challenge is building an economy where younger people can actually accumulate assets in the first place — not just defending every concession that helped inflate them.
